Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere: «We are delighted with the results of these three days of events. Verona provided a forum for open and fruitful dialogue on all the latest developments in a rapidly evolving sector».
An event that continues to grow and once again confirms its success in terms of attendance, with more than 4,000 highly qualified professionals present at the Verona exhibition and a program of specialized events that doubled compared to the previous edition. The 19th edition of Oil&nonOil, the only event in Italy and in the Mediterranean area dedicated to the fuel distribution supply chain, concluded today. Across more than 8,000 square meters of exhibition space and with the participation of 120 companies and brands, the city of Verona brought together all the main industry players and trade associations to discuss energy transition and the future of the distribution network.
Held on a biennial basis, Oil&nonOil will return with its next edition in 2027.
«We are very satisfied with the results achieved during these three days at Veronafiere,” stated Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere. “It is significant that Oil&nonOil has served as a meeting and discussion point between the main associations and institutions—a moment of open and fruitful dialogue on all the latest developments affecting a rapidly evolving sector ».
«Oil&nonOil continues to demonstrate Veronafiere’s ability to play a leading role in its reference markets,” commented Adolfo Rebughini, General Manager of Veronafiere. “It creates business opportunities and promotes a shared path toward the economic and environmental sustainability of the entire supply chain».
Oil&nonOil hosted professionals and exhibitors from all sectors related to fuel distribution: from the strictly “Oil” areas—plant design and construction, safety, technical installations, management systems, and fuels—to the “NonOil” sectors, including accessories, car washes, vending, fuel storage and transport, vehicles and tanks, alternative fuels, as well as the world of electric mobility and charging systems.
A wide range of technological solutions was showcased at the event—from digital payment systems and transport traceability tools to remote assistance for car washes. The car wash sector in particular recorded significant growth in this 2025 edition of Oil&nonOil. Among the innovations unveiled was the new SC43R tanker truck by Alkom Autocisterne, presented exclusively at the event. This tailor-made solution for daily fuel distributors features a self-supporting structure with a 41,000-liter capacity, and a design focused on enhanced safety, ergonomics, and accessibility.
At the heart of the conferences and thematic workshops—twice as many as in the previous edition—were discussions on the energy transition of the sector: from low-carbon fuels such as biofuels and biomethane, to the sustainable enhancement of high-efficiency internal combustion engines. The leading industry associations took center stage over the three days in Verona, beginning with the opening conference on October 22, promoted by Assogasliquidi-Federchimica, Assopetroli-Assoenergia, and Unem.
The topic of technological neutrality as an approach to the energy transition was the focus of another event on October 22, organized by Assogasmetano and Assopetroli-Assoenergia. On October 23, Faib Confesercenti, Fegica, and Figisc discussed “Rethinking the Network: Strengthening Legality to Meet the Mobility of the Future,” while Assocostieri provided an update on maritime bunkering and the future of renewable port energy communities. The closing day, October 24, featured Federmetano with a session dedicated to the latest developments in biofuels, methane-hydrogen blends for transport, and the association’s General Assembly of Members.
