Oil&nonOil Verona 2020: full steam ahead for registrations
The catalogue for the 15th edition of Oil&nonOil, scheduled 21-23 October at Veronafiere, is now being finalised after having confirmed the dates and upgraded prevention procedures: the first “physical” attended exhibition organised at the Verona Exhibition Centre after the lockdown period imposed by the coronavirus will see the implementation of the new “Safebusiness” protocol agreed and validated by institutions, health authorities and the Italian Association of Exhibition Centres and Trade Fairs (AEFI)
New registrations received in September include Adv Spazio, a family-owned publishing company based in Milan. Originally founded as an advertising agency, it by now boasts thirty years of experience in the field of specialist technical magazines. In the late-1990s, the company began dealing with information concerning the petroleum distribution market. It currently publishes the “Area di Servizio” magazine and two business to business yearbooks: “La guida del gestore” (Service Area Guide), which is published in even years as a preview to the Oil&nonOil show, and “La guida dei fornitori – Campeggi e villaggi turistici” (Supplier’s Guide – Campsites and Tourist villages).
The Bologna-based Centro Stampa e Media communications company also registered in September. In addition to providing services to associations, companies, consortia, public organisations and institutions, it also publishes the “Ecomobile – A tutto gas news” magazine specialising in sustainable mobility and alternative drive power. The bi-monthly magazine was first published in 1995 and became bilingual (Italian and English) in 2005. The magazines includes articles dealing with LPG and methane, hydrogen and biofuels, bio-methane and LNG, electric and hybrid traction, mobility systems and solutions, as well as other issues involving the green economy and environmental sustainability.
Cubogas, on its part, is one of the main international operators in the design, development and production of solutions for methane gas service stations for motor vehicles. It is based in Cherasco (Cuneo) and operates on Italian and international markets with the Cubogas and Fuel Maker brands. The company was founded more than 50 years ago and experience boasts of over 3,000 service stations installed all over the world. Cubogas became a subsidiary of Snam4Mobility in 2018, which in turn is a 100% subsidiary of utility company Snam.
The Brescia-based Endelbyte company has also signed up for the show. It deals with the design and production of hardware and software solutions for the industrial automation sector. In particular, it designs micro-controller boards (Atmel) for applications in various sectors such as home automation, LED lighting, vending, medical and industrial automation. These are also joined by the development of products based on ARM, Texas Instruments and Intel platforms and experiences in the vision sector. As regards, service stations, Endelbyte designs LED displays, luminous signs, price lists and related management systems.
MyLiteLed also comes forward as a partner in the illuminated communication field. The company based in Meledo di Sarego (Vicenza) has selected and imported LED systems from international markets since 2009. Its extensive product catalogue includes modules, bars, strips, hoses, LED headlights and profilers, waste collection bin profilers, power supply units, controllers and accessories. The offering is set off by the specialist advice of its group of experts before and after sales.
New registrations also include Normec based in Castagnito (Cuneo). This company has designed, built and sold equipment for tankers used to transport petroleum products, chemicals, food and liquids in general since 1963. Over this time, it has also developed products such as covers, valves, couplers, probes, fittings and other accessories, coming to the fore in new technologies for safe transport of hazardous materials. It offers complete ranges of certified products in aluminium and stainless steel alike.
Piusi was founded in 1953 in Suzzara (Mantua) and ranks among the world leaders in the fluid management sector. It provides services for private operators in agricultural, construction, mining and automotive industry, as well as workshops and garages, alongside management of company fleets and sea or land freight. It boasts a huge range of products for the transfer, refilling and metering of lubricants, petrol, diesel, AdBlue, water, oil and grease.
Rivista Italiana Petrolio is based in Rome and has published “Staffetta Quotidiana” since 1933 – a long-standing landmark for its independence and wealth of information: more than 10,000 thousand news items are published every year about oil, gas, electricity, renewable sources and the environment. These articles cover current affairs, in-depth analysis, statistics, legal texts, calls for tenders and regular specialist columns. It is flanked by two other specialist publications: “Staffetta Acqua” and “Staffetta Rifiuti”.
Sacim is another historic name. It whose origins date back to 1920. The Cesena-based company operates in the tanker sector for transporting liquid products by road, sea and rail. It vehicles include tankers for transporting flammable, chemical and high temperature fluids – even in military applications; airport refuelling plant and dispensers; equipment for waste suction combined with high pressure water washing. Sacim also offers services covering sales of second-owner products and after-sales assistance.
Lastly, the Transadriatico cooperative company has also joined the line-up. Established in 1993 in Grottammare (Ascoli-Piceno) by a dozen hauliers, today it has 25 partners, over 200 drivers and more than 250 owned vehicles. Its core business is ADR transport, i.e. hazardous goods, food and container transport. It also offers logistic services, remote control, optimisation consulting for company logistics and training. In particular, it transports and distributes fuel on wholesale and road networks, LPG, LNG, fuel for civil and military airport depots, fuel for heating, farms and fishing boats.
