Oil&nonOil and Asphaltica: more than 5000 operators over three days

 In EXHIBITION, Oil&nonOil 2021 Verona

150 exhibitors and 250 international buyers

More than 5000 qualified operators – the final figures for Oil&nonOil and Asphaltica. The shows closed yesterday after three days at Veronafiere.
The two exhibitions, scheduled together for the first time, attracted companies and professionals in the road supply chain, from infrastructures to fuel distribution and mobility services.
Satisfaction among 150 exhibitors and professional visitors.

“We have achieved the goal of creating new synergies between two similar formats, bringing them together in a single, landmark exhibition that looks to the future of smart roads,” said Giovanni Mantovani, CEO of Veronafiere. “And this strategy was rewarded by visitor numbers that already all but recovered pre-pandemic levels, with as many as 250 international buyers despite the current economic situation. We assured a safe b2b event in health terms and an effective event from a business point of view.”

Oil&nonOil is the exhibition that – since 2012 – has attracted to Veronafiere the entire fuel distribution and storage network world, as well as more than 22,000 service stations and 25,000 car wash centres in Italy, while also looking to the future of new energy and alternative mobility.

Asphaltica is the main national exhibition for technologies and solutions for road paving, safety and infrastructures. It is organized by Veronafiere and SITEB-Italian Roads and Bitumen, the association representing Italian companies in the sector – that in Italy is worth about 6 billion euros, with 400 asphalt plants in operation and 38,000 direct employees – a figure that increases to 500,000 if related industries are considered.

The exhibition part of the two events was equally backed up by 45 conferences and workshops over the three days, analyzing the opportunities offered by the NRP as well as topical issues such as the energy transition, road safety, logistics and the great challenge of “green” hydrogen.

Institutional and association attendance at the trade fair was impressive: among others, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Alessandra Todde, spoke during the inauguration; while the closing day welcomed the visit by the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Ettore Rosato.
