A New Date is Set for Oil&nonoil-S&TC SUD: Brought Forward from October to 25-26 September
The second O&NO-S&TC SUD show will be held from 25th to 26th September. Due to the high number of participants at the event, it is now expected to fill two halls (5 and 6) at the Mostra D’Oltremare fairgrounds in Naples. The fair has therefore been moved to a date that is a better fit for the national and internal fair calendar.
Oil&nonoil-S&TC SUD (www.oilnonoil.it) will be held on 25th and 26th September, in its usual venue in Mostra d’Oltremare fairgrounds, this year in halls 5 and 6.
The decision for the new date was prompted by the unexpected and impressive response from exhibitors from all event segments, especially S&TC (Fuel Storage and Transportation), which was not included in 2009.
In the first three days after the launch of the fair, 10% of the available space was reserved, the number of requests telling organizers that the area they had originally assigned was inadequate. The response indicated a 60% increase in the exhibition area and number of exhibitors was on the cards, while indicating that the fair would at least double in size.
The need to optimize the fair's scope for development has persuaded organizers to look at a larger area.
The fair in Naples offered “twin halls”, 5 and 6, the first of which was used in 2009.
The halls are very bright, they have seven metre ceilings and supervised underground parking is available to exhibitors as part of the booth package.
The date of mid October was considered good, but not ideal, so organizers took this opportunity to select a period of the year that was better suited to the national and international fair calendar in the heart of the period of the year when businesses are picking back up after the summer break.
The fair maintains the characteristic elements that make it ideal for businesses interested in the market in central-southern
Italy with modest investments and with the reassurance of organizational aspects in the form of the “worry free” package. Worry free means that the package delivers the booth, utilities, cleaning, parking, insurance, and invitations. These conditions also help small companies in the area who are able to take part, even when they are not very large.
Doubling the exhibition area and the rich array of products offered makes Oil&nonoil-S&TC more appealing still to visitors who are likely also to be tempted by the September temperatures in the Gulf.
Operators in each segment of the event have already reserved their spot or shown a lively interest in participating: manufacturers of car washes, detergents, purification systems, liquid or gas fuel distribution, structures for service stations, tanks and more.
The turnkey formula remains available and the promotional period will end on 30 April.
Conferences and information
As customary at Oil&nonoil-S&TC, much attention will be dedicated to organizing workshops, seminars and conventions, promoted with the collaboration of experts and associations.
Naples has a large port with a great deal of traffic and storage of petroleum products. It is natural to dedicate analysis and more in-depth information on these issues.
All the specific segments of the fair are experiencing changes stemming from technology, legislation and the repercussions of political decisions. Seminars and workshops will be structured accordingly to provide practical answers and will provide an opportunity for comparison and clarifications.
